World of Hyatt is one of the most flexible hotel loyalty programs, offering point redemptions far beyond hotel stays. The program’s Find experiences platform lets members book everything from fitness workshops and chef’s table dinners to Broadway tickets — paying with either cash or World of Hyatt points. While most Find experiences are listed at fixed prices, a smaller subset goes to auction, and that’s where the real value lies.
After attending a Hyatt-sponsored event at London’s Laver Cup tournament in The O2 arena’s ultra-VIP Legends Club, it became clear that Find auctions can represent one of the most valuable ways to redeem World of Hyatt points.
What Are Hyatt Find Experience Auctions?
Find is World of Hyatt’s experiences platform, where members can book activities and events with cash or points, without needing to stay at a Hyatt hotel — though some experiences include accommodations.
Most Find experiences carry a fixed price, and that’s where value can be harder to find. When TPG travel writer Rachel Craft tested a fixed-price Find dining package in Denver, it delivered less value than TPG’s valuation of World of Hyatt points, leading her to conclude that hotel redemptions typically offer better returns.
Auctions work differently. A small number of limited-time experiences — often tied to Hyatt’s sports sponsorships — go to the highest bidder, with members bidding in points rather than paying a set price.
Auction Rules to Know Before You Bid
- Bidding is open to World of Hyatt members who must be signed in to their accounts.
- Opening bids vary by listing. The Saturday-night Laver Cup package started at just 8,000 World of Hyatt points.
- Every bid is binding once placed and cannot be retracted, modified, or canceled.
- Winning experiences are noncancelable and nonrefundable — only bid if you can attend.
- If you don’t use a won experience, you forfeit it and Hyatt will not return your points.
- Each listing has its own dates, eligibility rules, and purchase deadlines. Read all terms before bidding.
How to Find and Bid on These Experiences
Auctions are usually a small portion of the total Find options available at any given time.
- Sign in to your World of Hyatt account on Hyatt’s Find experiences website.
- Head to the limited-time experiences section, which shows each auction’s current bid and time remaining.
- Sort by time left to find closing auctions, or sort by bid to spot listings that still have low current bids.
- Watch for new auctions around Hyatt’s sports sponsorships, such as the Laver Cup and the Audi Revolut F1 Team.
- Read the full listing — including exactly what’s included and what you’ll need to cover separately, such as flights — before placing a bid.
- Enter your bid, confirm you have enough points in your account, and monitor the final minutes, when prices can jump quickly.
Why These Auctions Can Deliver Exceptional Value
The Laver Cup packages auctioned through Find illustrate just how much value is possible. Each of the three packages included:
- Two single-session Legends Club tickets for the Laver Cup, including courtside seats
- Two nights in a River View king room at the Park Hyatt London River Thames
- Round-trip transfers between the hotel and The O2, and between the airport and the hotel
- A £300 (approximately $400) hotel food-and-beverage credit, excluding alcohol, taxes, service charges, third-party venues, and gratuities
- A “Back to Brilliance” 60-minute massage for two, subject to availability and advance booking
Inside the Legends Club
Starting with priority fast-track entry, the Legends Club was a significant step up in luxury from anything else available at The O2. The two-level hospitality suite — usually hidden behind the stage during concerts — opened directly onto the arena with a perfect baseline view.
Before play began, guests attended a Q&A with tennis legend Andy Murray, included as part of the experience. Premium food and drinks were served from 90 minutes before the session through the final ball, with Champagne available throughout. Courtside seats in the second row placed guests close enough to watch world No. 3 Carlos Alcaraz from just feet away.
The Park Hyatt London River Thames adds further appeal to the package, with spacious rooms, marble bathrooms, Thames views, and a 65-foot indoor pool.
Running the Numbers
Published all-in prices for a single Legends Club ticket ranged from $1,329 to $2,652 for Friday night and from $1,461 to $2,916 for either Saturday session, depending on seat. Standard rooms at the Park Hyatt started at $633 per night, and the hotel’s 60-minute “Back to Brilliance” massage costs $279 per person. Including the two-night stay and hotel credit, each package was worth an estimated $5,000 to $8,000, before accounting for transfers.
Hyatt auctioned three Laver Cup packages, with winning bids of 81,583, 120,560, and 160,000 points. Using TPG’s October 2026 valuation of 1.65 cents per World of Hyatt point, those bids were worth approximately $1,346, $1,989, and $2,640, respectively.
Even using the low end of the estimated package value, those redemptions delivered approximately 6.1, 4.1, and 3.1 cents per point — roughly 1.9 to 3.7 times TPG’s standard valuation.
For additional context: the Category 8 Park Hyatt London River Thames costs 35,000 to 75,000 World of Hyatt points per night for a standard room, meaning two nights can require 70,000 to 150,000 points. The two lower winning bids came in below the 150,000-point ceiling for two standard award nights at peak pricing, while the highest bid exceeded it by only 10,000 points.
Not every auction will deliver this level of return. Popular experiences such as Formula One races attract more competition, and final prices are unpredictable. The smart approach is to decide in advance what an experience is worth to you and stop bidding if the price climbs past that threshold.
How to Earn World of Hyatt Points
World of Hyatt members earn points on eligible Hyatt stays and cash-paid Find bookings, but a credit card is often the fastest way to build a balance for auction bidding.
Cobranded Hyatt Credit Cards
- World of Hyatt Credit Card: Earn up to 60,000 points — 30,000 bonus points after spending $3,000 in the first three months, plus up to 30,000 more by earning 2 bonus points per dollar on purchases that normally earn 1 point, on up to $15,000 spent in the first six months.
- World of Hyatt Business Credit Card: Earn 70,000 bonus points after spending $7,000 on purchases in the first three months.
Transfer Partners
Chase Ultimate Rewards points transfer to World of Hyatt from the following cards:
- Chase Sapphire Reserve®: Earn 100,000 bonus points after spending $6,000 in the first three months. Transfers to World of Hyatt at a 1:1 ratio.
- Chase Sapphire Reserve for Business℠: Earn 200,000 bonus points after spending $30,000 in the first six months. Transfers at a 1:1 ratio.

- Ink Business Preferred® Credit Card: Earn 100,000 bonus points after spending $8,000 in the first three months. Transfers at a 4:3 ratio.
Bilt Points currently transfer to World of Hyatt at a 1:1 ratio through Dec. 31, 2026. The ratio drops to 4:3 on Jan. 1, 2027.
Bottom Line
Fixed-price Find experiences rarely compete with hotel redemptions for value, but Find auctions are a different category entirely. When packages include courtside seats, luxury hotel stays, transfers, dining credits, and spa treatments, the total value can far exceed what the same points would yield on a standard hotel redemption — in some cases delivering more than three times TPG’s per-point valuation.
The 2027 Laver Cup will be held at the Intuit Dome near Los Angeles from Sept. 24–26, 2027. With Hyatt as the official hotel partner, it’s worth watching the Find platform for auction listings tied to next year’s tournament.
