Amazon has a new restaurant delivery partner for its Prime members: Uber Eats, which replaces the Grubhub+ benefit Prime members previously enjoyed.

Launch Promotion

To celebrate the new partnership, Amazon Prime members can get $20 off each of their first two eligible Uber Eats orders of $25 or more on linked accounts made via Amazon, as long as those orders are for U.S. restaurants and placed by Nov. 18.

Ongoing Free Delivery Benefit

Beyond the limited-time launch promotion, Prime members will get $0 delivery fees on eligible Uber Eats orders of $25 or more placed through the Amazon app or website. Interestingly, this benefit appears to work separately from any existing Uber Eats account or benefits you may already have.

There’s no need to download another app or create a separate Uber Eats account to use this perk. When you opt in through Amazon, you can use your existing Prime account information, including linked payment methods. You place the order via Uber Eats within your Amazon account — much like any other Prime delivery — but this time it is fulfilled by Uber Eats instead of an Amazon delivery driver.

Amazon has also said that there will be additional Prime-exclusive offers available only on Amazon that could save you more than $175 per year.

TPG tip: Amazon Prime Visa cardmembers earn 5% back on all Uber Eats orders through Dec. 5, 2026 with an eligible Prime membership.

Tips for Maximizing Savings

The $20 introductory promo appears to apply whether you use pickup or delivery, which isn’t always the case with Uber Eats promotions. It is therefore possible to save a full $20 on a $25 order if you select pickup. If you opt for delivery, service fees and a tip will factor into your total cost.

After the introductory promotion ends, it’s worth comparing the total cost of ordering through the Amazon-linked version of Uber Eats against any promotions, credit card benefits, or discounts available through your regular Uber Eats account. The best deal may vary depending on which version of Uber Eats you use and what other rewards you have available.
